Welcome to Into K Food. By accessing or using intokfood.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About the Site
Into K Food is an English-language publication about Korean food. We publish recipes, cooking guides, street food features, restaurant recommendations, and articles on Korean food culture, written for readers outside Korea.
The Site is operated from the Republic of Korea. You do not need an account to read our content.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

3. Intellectual Property

We will review and, where appropriate, remove the material.
5. Recipes, Ingredients, and Food Safety
Recipes and cooking instructions on this Site are provided for general informational purposes. Please read this section carefully — it matters more than the rest.
- Results vary. Ingredients, equipment, altitude, and technique all affect the outcome. We are not responsible for the results of any recipe you attempt.
- Ingredient substitution. Korean ingredients are not always available outside Korea, and we sometimes suggest substitutes. Substitutions change the result and may change how a dish should be stored or handled.
- Allergies. Always read ingredient labels yourself. Korean cooking commonly uses soy, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish sauce, and fermented pastes that may contain allergens not obvious from a dish’s name. We cannot guarantee any recipe is free from allergens.
- Food safety. Follow proper food handling practices and cook proteins to safe internal temperatures as recommended by your local food safety authority. Recipes involving fermentation, raw seafood, raw egg, or preserved foods carry additional risk; follow the instructions closely and use your own judgment.
Nutritional information, where given, is an estimate only. Nothing on this Site is medical or dietary advice. Consult a qualified professional for guidance specific to you.
6. Restaurant and Travel Information
Restaurant recommendations, prices, opening hours, menus, and locations reflect our experience at the time of writing. Korean restaurants change quickly, and details may be out of date by the time you read them.
We are not affiliated with the restaurants we feature unless we say so explicitly. Please verify details directly with the business before you travel or visit.
7. Advertising and Affiliate Links
This Site displays advertising, including Google AdSense, and some posts contain affiliate links.
- If you buy through an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
- Posts containing affiliate links carry a visible disclosure at the top of the post.
- Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial opinions. We recommend only what we would use ourselves.
- We are not responsible for products or services purchased from third parties, or for their shipping, warranty, or customer service.
- Any sponsored content or paid partnership is clearly labeled as such.
8. External Links
The Site links to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.
9. User Comments
If comments are enabled, you are responsible for what you post.
By submitting a comment, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, reproduce, and edit it in connection with the Site. You confirm that your comment is your own or that you have the right to post it.
We may remove or edit comments that are spam, abusive, off-topic, or otherwise inappropriate, at our discretion and without notice. We are not obligated to monitor comments, and comments do not represent our views.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content.
We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Into K Food shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site — including damages related to recipes, food preparation, allergic reactions, restaurant visits, or products purchased through third-party links.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we handle it.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after that point means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Your Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute will be brought before the courts of the Republic of Korea.
Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection afforded by the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, you keep those rights and may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
